Two Sisters by Pierre Auguste Renoir
This is my favorite Pierre Auguste Renior painting. I was able to see this in person while visiting the Art Institute of Chicago. This picture hardly does the masterwork justice. The colors come alive when you are standing right in front of the canvas. The gravity of this work is amazing from even a long distance. Standing 60 feet away the detail is incredible and the fact that this is a masterpiece is so obvious.
