Baronet - Furniture Made the Old Fashioned Way
In today's furniture market there are so many companies cutting corners that it is especially nice to see really good quality, and old world construction. I made a very wise choice 10 years ago and purchased a bedroom set from Baronet, a rather small to medium size manufacturer that adheres to the standards that made them a great company. Baronet still uses solid maple tops and framing with mortise and tenon joints, solid drawers with linear dovetail joints and wooden drawer glides. My favorite collection they currently produce is the Java collection with its traditional hints and nice smooth curves. One feature that sets them apart is the great job they do on their finishes and how they bring out the true beauty of the wood.
