Frank Lloyd Wright's Furniture Can't be Wrong

Wright Husser Table
Wright Desk

If there was Father of American architecture it would most definitely be Frank Lloyd Wright. His timeless designs were far beyond his era and have been studied and expounded upon since their introduction. Wrights career which spanned from1887 to 1959 focused mostly on residential and later commercial buildings, but he also had some very well known furniture designs. Using mostly natural woods and metal Wright created some very clean styles focusing on geometrical shapes. One of my personal favorites is the Husser table with its attention to detail yet simple design, perfect for a minimalist such as myself. Another favorite is the multilevel desk which incorporates a hanging trash can as well as a set of drawers for an ultimate use of space.

Natuzzi Plaza Sofa - Leather Furniture with a Future

Plaza Sofa

When you think of leather you think of Italy, after all they have been producing some of the worlds finest leather goods for generations. When you think of leather furniture one name stands out as the world leader in design and production, Natuzzi. Founded in the 1950's by Pesquale Natuzzi, the company is still driven by the same standards of excellence that made them famous. Their name has become synonymous with fine quality and innovative style that others tend to imulate but never seem to get quite right. One of my personal favorites is the Plaza collection for its sleek low style and clean lines. Many of their models are available in sectionals or conventional sofa groups with many accent chairs and chaise lounges.
