In the ever growing world of "green" and "eco friendly" products the Ecopod is a great idea to assist in recycling. Know originally as Club 8 this reinvented Modern furniture company has covered all the bases and has something for every room of your home. I really like their hanging wall units and low profile platform beds with their clean lines and beautiful selection of wood veneers. Bo Concepts represents a very good value and manages to offer great styles that play of the modern classics at a less than collector price tag. The Diva sofa in indicative of the upholstery line but the picture does not do the fabric justice, they really have a great selection!

I know this is not a new piece, but it is a staple in the interior design game nonetheless. The Warren Platner series of sculpted steel wire tables and chairs by Knoll are so clean and timeless they have cemented themselves as an icon of the modern era. I visited a store this weekend specializing in classic furniture and could not help but recognize the simplistic beauty of the small round coffee table. Nick Tretiak cork lounge chair

Cork continues to gain popularity as shoppers search for more environmentally friendly products. Cork is a renewable wood source as the bark is harvested from cork trees every seven years. The tree is not harmed and the bark will grow back naturally. The lounge chair featured here was designed by Nick Tretiak. Nick experimented with cork and furniture resulting in the creation of this piece. He wanted to incorporate the softness of cork and refrain from using a solid block of material. This chair uses cork for the seat and back with the frame being constructed of red oak.

When I think of outstanding Italian design that has more than just visual appeal, combining form and function with "glamorous technology", Baleri Italia comes to mind. Inspired by Enrico Baleri and an incredible design team, their goal is to surpass generic and create distinct furniture that is if nothing else, fun to look at. The Bristol sofa available in 2 or 3 seats, has a great transitional theme that will look at home in a classic modern or a traditional environment thanks to its rolled arms and tufted leather. The Bristol is far more conservative than most of the Baleri Italia line, so if you're into ultra modern you won't be disappointed.

I came across this picture and wanted to share it with my readers. Have any of you considered red for your dining chairs? How about a more contemporary look to spice things up? This is an interesting dining furniture combination with a fun and light look.
