I really like the clean look of this sleeper sofa from Haiku Designs. Many of the sleepers on the market are big and bulky and look like they house a bed. This simple design, however, does not have a bulky look and yet offers great flexibility. On top of that it is hard to beat the black leather and chrome combination. A great feature of this piece is that there are multiple positions that the sofa can be adjusted to giving the owner great flexibility. I also find this piece to be transitional with its sleek appearance. It could be the center point in your living room or placed some where else in your home as an accent piece.
Here is a great decorative table lamp available from Stylepark. The Aqua Cil was designed by Ross Lovegrove. Constructed of aluminum and steel this lamp reflects light from its unique design. You can see from the interesting shape that light would refract off of the lamp shade providing an interesting effect. I love the clean look and steel architectural expression of this piece.
A lot of the pieces we feature on Furniture Fashion are high end pieces that make for interesting conversation. At $117, here is an affordable corner computer desk from IFURN. I really like the size of this desk for small spaces. Many of the desks are so bulky and take up a ton of room. This desk can easily accommodate a laptop computer and could work in a bedroom or living room or for flats and small apartments.

Here is a little something extra for a traditional home. Pulaski Furniture offers a great pedestal perfect for a plant or a special piece that you want to highlight. This pedestal is hand painted and constructed from wood. If you enjoy the decorative look of this piece, Pulaski has many other items of accent furniture in its collection.

If you enjoy the look of metal and open air shelving, then this baker rack from Pastel Furniture may be what you are looking for. Designed in black with the classic brushed stainless steel contrast, this piece is ready to house your keepsakes. The square cut outs in the stainless provide additional decoration to spruce up this minimal shelf.
When I think of a canopy bed I think of French antique furniture characterized by its ornate intricacies. Not so here. The Milo canopy bed from EQ3 is totally contemporary. Chrome metal tubes encompass the bed forming a canopy above the mattress. The bed featured here has a fabric headboard, but there are other options available. Priced at $999 and measuring 63"(W) x 83"(D) x 80"(H) this modern marvel aims to please.
I like the shape and look of these weave planters from Palecek Furniture. These are great planters that don't take up too much room since their design is tall rather than wide. This fits my design style as I like to conserve space and avoid too much clutter. Another consideration is that these pieces come from renewable plant sources. Palecek has been concerned about the environment for many years and actively participates in reforestation projects in the Philipines.
Most of the collection from Norwalk Furniture is more traditional by design. I find the Beckett chair and ottoman to be more transitional. The leather pattern closely resembles that of the famed Barcelona chair and the arms certainly take their influence from modernism. The ottoman is somewhat unique in its design giving the chair set a different overall look.
Copper countertops offer an alternative to more common designs such as granite or Corian. Many people accent their kitchen with copper pots and pans hanging from racks. A copper counter top can replace this look and yet still provide that rustic appeal. Proper care is important since metal can naturally tarnish and develop patinas.
