There are about to be more choices in Houston for home decorating. Ashley is opening two Houston furniture stores. Conroe and Katy will be the first locations with plans to build 8-10 more. The Ashley HomeStores concept centers upon 45,000 square foot retail locations. The Wisconsin manufacturer will use these stores to market their own brand exclusively, focusing on settings in which the customer can see entire rooms of furniture setup as he or she would see in his or her own house.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel and it hopefully its coming from the Libra lamp from Sonneman Lighting. Robert Sonneman has been designing some really outstanding lamps and other lighting fixtures for more than 40 years, and he is very good at it. The Libra which is a new relative to the feather lamp has delicate wisps of fiberglass that are balanced by tapering weights. The positioning of the halogen fixture is very smooth and flows with a very easy touch and is fully rotational. This is the latest of many modern classic lamps from Robert Sonneman.
