Pictured here is the Concave Wall from the Elica Collection designed by David Lewis. You can't beat the futuristic styling of this vent hood featuring brushed metal with offset in blue. I particularly enjoy the contemporary concept of how the stainless steel cylinder meets the curved blue plane to create an aesthetic contrast.
A nice vent hood can add much to the appearance of your kitchen. A vent draws attention towards the ceiling which is often an overlooked area in the home. This style is a bit too contemporary for me, as I enjoy stunning stainless systems. For me stainless speaks the kitchen being a place to cook and make great foods. Though this is a bit too much for me it makes for a nice conversation piece.
With so many of us working from home these days shouldn't we put a little more into our home office furniture to at least make the experience as good as possible? Every time I go to one of their stores I can't help but feel surrounded by quality and close attention to details. The Demilune Console is a fine example with its beautiful inlays and classic curved front creating a timeless look. Ethan Allen specializes in the American Classics including dining rooms, bedrooms, and great looking sofas. Pick something you want to see for a while, none of its disposable!

Here is a very light and minimal platform bed that makes a very cool statement without a lot of anything. The Bett Tine by designer Raimund Gamerith is part of the Vienna Design Week held thru most of October which showcases the newest contemporary furniture creations from Austria. I especially like the bowed base that breaks from the traditional straight lines setting the design apart from so many other beds. Even though this was my favorite piece, there were a lot of really cool modern furniture designs that are sure to make it in the real world.
