Japanese and Norwegian Tok white recliner
Here is a white recliner that is a joint effort from Stokke of Norway and Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita. Pictured here is the maple finish. This piece comes in a variety of other wood finishes. Of particular interest are the angles in this chair. Combined with the wood as it meets the angles, you can see the influence from master designer Charles Eames. I like the lift of this modern recliner as it creates a fair amount of space between the base and the bottom of the chair. This technique makes pieces appear smaller than they are though the seating area is that of any normal chair. This approach softens the look of the chair and makes it not look so bulky in any living room. Price: $1,842 British pounds.

We were only able to get the information on this piece from the manufacturer. We also had trouble finding out who is a dealer for this product and therefore, had trouble determining what the price is.
