This must be chandelier week at Furniture Fashion but it's hard to stop when the great pieces keep on coming. To me there is nothing more beautiful than hand blown glass, and after my visit to Murano glass in Venice Italy this past year I have a new respect for the gifted artisans that fashion each "one of a kind" piece. The passion and sweat that goes into each project is significant and the owner can proudly say they have an original. Here is a spectacular blown glass chandelier from Robert Kaindl of Kirkland Washington that would definitely add more than just light to your dining room. The naturally inspired shapes have a very smooth and elegant flow. Robert uses very vibrant colors to bring life to his outstanding creations which include nesting bowls, giant ostrea bowls, wall sea shapes, and he even does custom work. His works are very detailed and rival anything I saw in Venice!

I have seen some really outstanding patio and outdoor furniture in my day, but the goods offered by Diamond Teak are among the best. The attention to detail and innovative design are obvious, and I really like the subtle stainless steel accents they use as spacers between the planks. The first piece that caught my eye was this teak chaise lounge with it's nice curves and tapered ends, it exudes quality as do the matching lounge chair and table ottoman. The products are made from the most beautiful hardwood available, and the design brings out the unique grain of each piece of wood. Teak and stainless steel are perfect for outdoor furniture and will require very low maintenance or up keep. A light application of lemon or linseed oil will preserve the wood and make it repel the elements.
Chaise Lounge measures 63 L 25D 32H $2,980

If you want to experience the benefits of the latest in bedding technology but aren't ready to purchase an often costly viscoelastic memory foam mattress, consider one of the quality memory foam mattress toppers available. Viscoelastic Memory foam is a very gummy extremely pliable material with a slow reaction time that fills in all your curves for maximum support. The topper simply lays on your existing mattress and works best with at least a firm base so there is less sagging. Most memory foam mattresses are made in two to three layers of which the top layers are memory foam, and the thicker base layer is harder and more supportive. This is the perfect way to economically make your self the perfect bed while keeping your existing mattress. Prices range from $200-500.

A far infrared sauna is no longer just something you see at your local health club. Far infrared sauna models are available today that can be installed right in your home. I have sat in saunas before, but cannot tell you if they were far infrared or not.
Technology is changing rapidly where items are available in homes that were not available many years ago. If they were available in the past, they were likely cost prohibitive. That being said, I think it is important to understand what a far infrared sauna is and what the current discussion is regarding its benefits to the human body.
