The Fitting project was Italy's first modular furniture company founded in 1960 thanks to the great ideas and design of Ampelio Piorrato. Today things are very much the same with outstanding modular shelving and wall mounted storage perfect for office furniture or residential use. The collection includes contemporary items composed of innovative materials that fit their motto, "hi-tech and tradition perfectly combined". The concept of "fittings" is what the systems are based on and allows the user to make an infinite number of configurations with the joints or fittings as they are called. The systems are great for any application from entertainment wall to storage units, and even beds. I personally like the versatility of the fitting collection as well as the modern look of the structure. Shown here is the Fitting Gold X2 storage unit in anodized black aluminum with gold leaf doors, "limited for many but not for all".

The Lacava collection of US and or Italian made vanities, sinks, and faucet combinations are so well done it is hard to pick a favorite. Lacava makes it easy to fine tune your décor with a full range of wood options and sizes from a simple sink stand to an elaborate dual sink model with cabinets. The collection is mostly clean and modern but does include a classic selection of vanities that is equally impressive. There is also a series of bathroom accessories, mirrors, toilets, and faucets for sinks as well as showers. Bathroom sink basins continue to get more creative in their design approach and ambiance offered by their visual appearance. Such is the case with the Liaison sink basin from Villeroy & Boch. The first glance at this piece leaves you feeling with a breath of fresh air. I enjoy the futuristic feel created from the contrast between the white ceramic base and glass bowl. The glass bowl sure catches my eye. I also really enjoy the clean lines of this piece and the way that it sets on top of the tile. The single stainless water control departs from a traditional two control set to provide a captivating minimal look.
