Iittala's Blown Glass Birds Live On
If you are a collector of quality blown glass or a lover of birds then the perfect combination may be the decorative collection of glass birds by Iittala. The global phenomenon started in 1970 with Finnish glass artist Oiva Toikka's first release which soon grew to a large flock of gorgeous creatures. Today the tradition continues with Iittala's introduction of a new generation of Birds in 2007, designed by the Italian artist and jewelry designer, Giorgio Vigna. The Vigna Collection is refined and sculptural with a sleek modern look in a variety of vibrant colors.

Wow. Those are so beautiful. I'm not much of a bird collector but I'm a huge fan of blown glass and I think those are absolutely gorgeous!
