LAX Platform Bed by MASH Studios
Having been well over due for purchasing a new bed, it's no surprise that the LAX Platform Bed by MASH Studios caught my eye. The first thing I noticed was the clean low styling and the absence of a boxspring. The natural plywood used in the construction of the platform bed offers enough give and durability while providing the arability a mattress needs through the openings between each slats. What's really unique is the wall mounted headboard with aluminum sliding doors which would make my bedside table a lot less cluttered thanks to the extra space.

Platform beds are so Zen - I love the simplicity and the clean lines. However, the right size sheets and bedding can be hard to find. One site I have found to be especially helpful is ElegantLinensPC.com. They carry not only excellent quality Italian linens, they also carry them in sizes that can be hard to locate at regular department stores, and they will send you a sample first so you know what you are getting. Just thought I'd give them a mention in case anyone is looking for sheets to fit a platform bed.
