Furniture Fashion received this submission featuring a modern seating solution. It is a two person accent chair designed to accommodate flexibility for group seating or as individually setup chairs. By placing the three chairs together, one can create a group seating configuration such as what you may find in a public place like an office lobby. The accent chairs can also be placed separately to create more private seating. As you can see the Panta Rhei offers great flexibility in its seating configuration possibilities. Panta Rhei is currently available in Dubai, Spain, and the U.S.A. More information at: Gypser.

Where do interior designers go to find the newest trends in home design on an international or domestic level?
Design trends are funny things, inspiration comes from everywhere. Interior designers learn about design trends through trade shows like NeoCon and KBIS, as well as looking through magazines and reading trade articles. If you want to learn about trends coming to the U.S. ahead of time, you can look for international magazines at specialty news stands or magazine shops. If you are looking for a certain kind of cultural trend, say Parisan or Indian, this is the best option. Fortunately for everyone, the internet now makes everything accessible, so the trends you see are sure to come to the U.S. soon. As far as color trends, fashion and art are major influencers, for more on this topic please click this link: Color trends for 2008.

Furniture Fashion received this submission of a cool modern wall clock from industrial designer, Christos Vittoratos. This modern wall clock, called Uhrzahl, is produced by Heintze & Blanckertz a small manufacturer of arts and crafts, which was founded in 1842. It cooperated in early 20th century with famous graphic designers like Rudolf Koch, Paul Renner and Edward Johnston, so Christos tried to design a product on the interface between graphic and product design. The watch hands are the same like on old German station clocks (but the smaller size). Designer: Christos Vittoratos.
