The staff at Furniture Fashion has the opportunity to see a lot of outstanding high end products that we put on our own wish list, and here is one of our picks for bathroom vanities. This is the first of a three part series on La Roccia highlighting the Italian manufacturer's collections of mostly modern bathroom vanities with a touch of storage. The Nuda series takes on many faces with combinations of natural stone solids and veneers against stained wood accents with just enough storage to get the job done without taking away from the sleek linear design. La Roccia makes use of the space provided with wall mounted elements which free up floor space, or the island vanity that is accessible from all directions.

Combining great looking wall mirrors with storage is a great idea when decorating a home. Tonelli of Italy presents Babycake, a design by Karim Rashid that combines great looks with a touch of storage space. The only thing you cannot create more of in any home, loft, or apartment is space. I find that small items in living rooms often find their way out of built-ins or wall units instead of remaining in their normal resting place. Dimensions: 90 x 20 x 180 cm; Thickness: 5 mm; Capacity: 50 kg; Weight: 88 kg. Price: $2,000. Available: Here.

The Frandsen Projekt is the go to company for so many well known high profile corporate companies when it comes to super sleek lighting. They also do some of the coolest residential hanging lights and lamps made from a wide variety of materials. The Bait Lamp designed by Henrik Pedersen is the Frandsen Projekt's latest release unveiled at the ICFF. This simple floor lamp has a carbon fiber rod, with a movable brushed steel weight that acts as a counter balance that can be slid along the lamp to adjust the height of the lighting. At the same time the carbon fiber rod will naturally adjust its curve like a fishing rod which is the inspiration for the Bait Lamp.

Kurl is a combination of 5 glass shelves that form a shelving unit for storage. Each shelf is painted transparent glass. Colors include pink, metal brown, and green. I find this particular ensemble intriguing. I am not sure how much weight I would put upon since it is made of glass and the pieces rest upon one another. I do think that it would add a cool touch of color in the right contemporary home. Price: $5,000. Available: Here.
