Space Saving Polly Folding Chair by Andrew Haarsager
Sometimes you need extra seating and it's nice to be able put the chairs away in a small space when they are not in use. Folding chairs are the perfect answer to filling the need for additional seating, and here is a cool little chair that will tastefully compliment your modern decor. Andrew Haarsager's "Polly" folding chair is currently in development with Jenny Wu who received inspiration from folding boxes to gain maximum rigidity. Using polypropylene requires far less energy and is much less expensive than the production of a standard aluminum folding chair not to mention they are also light weight. Additionally no material is wasted in its production, and the Polly folding chair folds to a flat rectangle less than an inch thick allowing them to be stored in a small closet or under a bed.
