Designed by Enrique Cesana this furniture piece is based on a linear system featuring three modules with a complimentary L-shaped component. Construction features matt lacquered MDF and plywood. In a previous post Furniture Fashion started preparing you for the colder weather and presented a few room radiators, some of which doubled as towel racks. Here is a much more modern and interactive version by Runtal Radiators that allows you to create the look that suites your interior décor. The "Puzzle" designed by Claudio Colucci for Runtal has wood or Corian plates surrounded by tubular steel that conducts heat and warms the immediate environment. Each Puzzle radiator comes with a variety of colorful plates that allow you to change up the look from time to time fulfilling Colucci's plan of "maximum flexibility" of the object. For active entertainers this bar dispenser may have some appeal. This project was created by ten Swedish designers for a Beefeater competition where the object was to solve a bar's issue in servicing customers. You can see that the "drinks will flow" with this model. The design team, From Us With Love, won the competition. This device will be on display at Designgalleriet in Stockholm from 27 August to 2. Having a bed with storage drawers underneath the mattress provides a great place to store extra sheets, pillows, and other items that would be found in a linen closet. For smaller spaces I like the effect since you may not have extra storage space for extra linens and blankets. The Stratton Platform bed from Pottery Barn is manufactured as you would expect from great wood providing for a high degree of furniture quality. Like most beds on the market a king, queen, full, or twin mattress can be accommodated on the wooden frame. I like the fact that you can choose a version with or without a headboard. West Elm continues to be a good source for reasonably priced modern and transitional furniture, and here is another find. The "Bridge" coffee table and end table work well in almost any décor and offers a generous 56"w x 24"d x 8.5"h for an affordable $299.
