Fun and unusual are two good words to describe the "Bubble Rock" ultra modern sofa series from Living Divani of Italy. This series has been seen as an "archipelago of seating and support, round, trapezoid, and squared surfaces to be used as you wish". Living Divani accentuated the bold shape of the Bubble Rock sofa with equally dramatic colors that create a piece you can't take your eyes off of. Ceccotti Collezioni makes no compromises when it comes to creative furniture designs, and the new releases for this year are definitely up to par. Here is a sampling of the type of designs you can expect from the all Italian "eclectic" collection. The Buonanotte Valentina platform bed by designer Noe Duchaufour-Lawrence is made of shapely American Walnut and is available in a curved slatted or leather covered headboard. Ceccotti craftsman meticulously handcraft and finish their products to give an appearance of true refinement. Can't make up your mind for colors in a new storage credenza? How about a bit of traditional mixed with a clean new fresh color? The Greco Credenza combines both of those thoughts into a contemporary piece of storage furniture with a splash of "old world" looking wood. Stefano Joannides uses white lacquer and wood finish to create Greco for Idea Space Design. I like the openness of the left side which is ultra-contemporary and makes quite a design statement in your home. I like the look of the Exos Console Table and in particular its depth of only 15 inches. The short depth opens up many design possibilities in the home. The table would work well against a wall in a living room and also in a hallway as a nice "entry-way" furniture piece. Exos comes from Idea Space Design and features wooden construction painted in white lacquer with a glass tabletop. Winter is just around the corner and people everywhere will be firing up their fireplaces to not only keep warm, but to set a cozy ambiance that only fire can provide. In a previous post, Furniture Fashion showed our readers the most stylish suspended modern fireplaces of the "Focus" series from designer Dominique Imbert. Her "Chromifocus" was inspired by and dedicated to the great vision of artist Piet Mondrian, and offers a concealed sliding door option that turns this very useful fireplace into a work of art.
