I was blown away when I saw the indoor pool designs created by Manuel Ocaña. The amazing thing about this project is that this was a refurbishment of an old house. My first impression was "new construction", but as I read on I learned more of the project. This home is in Madrid, Spain and it measures 8 x 8 meters. That size does not give a lot of room to work with. The history is that the couple insisted on the installation of an indoor pool as part of the new house plans. Acrylic bar stools are likely a stretch for most homes in terms of decorating possibilities. In an ultra-contemporary setting, these babies could shine. These bar stools are from Designlush and feature color infused acrylic construction. On first blush they may appear to be glass which would be difficult not to break. Acrylic, however, is a very durable substance able to withstand people's weight as well as being moved around. I really like the shapes of both the bar stools and the accompanying bar table.
