I am constantly amazed at the creativity of today's furniture and interior designers, and Takeshi Miyakawa is name one to keep you eye on. His design studio was started in 2001 and he already has a vast portfolio with some outstanding original furniture designs. Here is his chest of many drawers that may work well as a lingerie chest or even a jewelry chest. The "Affordable Housing" chest features 60 small drawers on all four sides with a nicely finished top that may work perfectly in a large walk in closet to house the finishing touches to your wardrobe. Legnomobile is a new line of storage cabinets offered by M2L Collection. Alfredo Haberli was the designer behind this inspiration. Each design consists of two elements resting on a bench with polished feet. There is a combination of colors including white, wenge, and acid green. I like the combination of colors and the way the two elements "stack" up upon the bench. For me it creates a different look than most storage cabinets where it is one long connected piece along its width. More information: here.

Furniture Fashion has reviewed some outstanding modern and contemporary bathroom accoutrements such and bathtubs, vanities, and steam showers. Most of them are shown in quite spacious surroundings and a bit out of reach for the real world when it comes to size. This bathroom design incorporates a nice selection of luxury bathroom accessories in a more realistic floor plan geared for folks like you and I. The interior design was done by MA Architecture and was featured in the March issue of Midwest Home Magazine. I like the fact that the Tulo chair from Dietiker is compact in its size. Often I find myself looking for occasional chairs to fit a particular space only to find that a large majority of chairs are designed to encompass massive proportions of space. Tulo's small size opens up many possibilities for bedrooms, studies, or living rooms where you may need that extra seating. I find the shape of this chair along with other tub-like chairs to offer comfortable seating for my back with a nice place to rest my arms. Tulo was designed by Shin Azumi.
