Blu Dot proves that a sleeper sofa can look good! The "One Night Stand" queen size bed simply unfolds from the sofa after removing the back cushions and flipping the seat forward. Often sofa beds are bulky and unattractive usually ending up in a spare room and only used when guests come over or you get kicked out of bed. The One Night Stand's dressy grey or rust wool blend fabric, contrasting accent pillows, and brushed stainless steel legs make it worthy of the main living room and everyday use. 80 W 30 H 32 D Seat height: 17.5 Seat depth: 22 Arm height: 23 inches $1799 from designpublic.com

Jake Phipps is known for some really unique furniture and lighting designs and here is yet another addition to his portfolio. The "Orson" chair takes on a totally different look from every side adding to its strong visual impression. The rotational plastic composition reminds me of some of the mid-century classics like the Verner Panton Chair.

I am pretty sure the connoisseur of high quality audio and video products will find this of little or no persuasion when selecting their next TV. However if you are the average electronics consumer and more into interior design perfection, the new Vizio Java HDTV may fit into your plans. This Java (copper-and-black) colored 32 or 37 inch flat panel features 1080p capability, three HDMI and dual component inputs, a 6,500:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and more. This does show that electronic companies are paying attention to matching their products with current furniture trends and the visual requirements of consumers. $650-$850
