Shipping containers are perhaps one of the most common supply chain items in the world. The standard container moves product on cargo ships in millions of tons on a given day. Often, we forget how goods came to be in our city of residence. Exposure Architects put the "Greentainer" project together where they focused on the container and designing something that was friendly to the environment. This is an interesting concept that reminds me of a really cool greenhouse. Via. Exposure Architects.

One more new release form Lago furniture of Italy and designer Monica Graffeo proves once again we haven't seen it all just yet. Simply throw on your mattress and you are set to sleep. See the other creative furniture designs from Lago of Italy here.

The first thing I look for in furniture bookshelves is the overall design of the piece and how it might work inside a home. In today's market, there seems to be less and less bookshelves to choose from as furniture stores have converted that "floor space" for other products. The design pictured here was created during the mid-century era by Marcel Breuer. The furniture bookshelves feature four shelves attached to a tubular steel frame. This is an open concept as opposed to a close-ended example where the shelves are surrounded by a wood frame. By being open, you could put a TV on the top and use this as an entertainment center as well. Price: $2,660. Product link: here.
