Sendai Bookshelves a Marvel in Contemporary Italian Design

Horm of Italy does more than produce everyday bookshelves. Once again they have delivered a contemporary Italian design marvel in its Sendai bookshelves model. Sendai features custom construction in the supports for each shelf. Each support is warped and changed to unique shapes creating an interesting look that departs from the structural shape we associate in bookshelf construction. The support legs look worn and tired, but in truth provide ample support for the shelves. The colors of the wood supports are walnut and natural giving the appearance of an exotic wood or a yet to be discovered bamboo. Designer: Toyo Ito. Product information: here.
