A great gift idea is these solid steel measuring cups that retail under $25. I have one set of these cups now and use them all the time. In fact, I need to add one more set as I often have to use the same size twice for two ingredients. The measuring cups are nice, because they are heavy, made from high gauge steel. It gives me much more confidence that they feel of "professional weight" much like a chef would use. Also, the weight helps in that they remain stable in the dishwasher.
