1960s Teak Occasional Table by France & Son

I love the shape of this teak occasional table made by France & Son in the 1960s. The two level design with caning on the second level creates a wonderful piece for a modern living room. This table was designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen of Denmark. Keep a look out in your thrift shopping for a nice table like this.

My mother has this identical France & Son table by her bed. My father bought it at great expense, I understand, in the 60's. There's another F&S table on the other side, different design, just as lovely. I have my eye on them both... :-)
