Wine Tumblers - A Good Way to Avoid Stemware Spills
A new trend I am seeing is the use of wine tumblers instead of stemware. I did not think much of it the first time I saw someone enjoying wine from these glasses, but I am seeing this more and more. The reasoning is quite simple. It is much harder to spill from a tumbler than from a stem. Further, some people have trouble putting down stemware without cracking the base. Perhaps, it is a vision issue or simply put an "impaired vision" issue. Nonetheless, wine tumblers are catching on. These glasses here are made by Riedel and are called "O Glasses".
