Folded Steel Furniture by Snodevormgevers of the Netherlands
Designers Josef Blersch and Mander Liefting of the two person design firm Snodevormgevers ( sly designers) of Eindhoven in the Netherlands, present their latest furniture and fireplace made from folded steel plate. The Tree Trunk Stool, Liquor Cabinet, and Fireplace were produced as part of their contribution to the "Stuffed" exhibition at the Dutch Design Week. I think the natural theme of their metal work is quite refreshing and may work well in a casual country interior design theme, or in a less formal environment such as a beech house or vacation home.
