Modern sinks and washbasins take on a new and organic look, one you may expect to see as water flows over and through the natural stones of a river bed. The KANERA project is comprised of three enamel washbasins targeted at high end hotels, modern commercial architecture, and some residential consumer groups. This German made series of modern sinks feature two single and one double faucet version with the KANERA 1 E being designed for a wall mounted faucet. The smooth flow of water is perhaps the most aesthetically pleasing detail of these sleek sinks that is said to have a rather "calming effect".

The Krups Nescafe Dulce Gusto espresso maker is one of the easier models on the market in terms of how it is to be used. The coffee appliance uses pods that quickly slide into the machine and create the brew in a short amount of time. There is a lever on the front side of the machine that controls the release of the pod-holder. A small drip tray prevents counter spills and collects excess water after each brew. Krups Nescafe comes in three colors: bed, cream, and black. One feature consumers like about this piece is its design shape. Here is the new writing desk with a distinctly geometric shape from German designer Florian Kallus. The Xbein appears to be a single plank of wood that has been folded into a modern desk with ample work space and leg room. Here is a clever idea for a small table that is also a magazine holder. The simple design fits standard sized magazines in its base snugly creating an organized look to the magazine stack. Many of us have magazines as part of a hobby or our line of work. This solution gives a place to keep them nearby and yet present them in a more fashionable way. Designer Ernest Igl and his famous "igl jet" desk will make a well deserved come back with a limited and numbered production. The original release in of the Igl Jet in 1970 was right for the times and the cool modern styling became in instant cult classic. Now a limited run of 1,970 units will be produced from polyurethane with matte or high gloss finish in pearl-white, deep black, aluminum metallic or orange metallic. This contemporary desk will also feature three steel and soft stop drawers on each side. I am not sure how much the new igl Jet desk will cost but as we all know cool isn't cheap! See more here.
