If you liked the Heron Chair from designer Charles Wilson then you will surely love the rest of his works he conspired with Woodward of Australia to produce. Wilson's progressively modern collection of chairs are part of a vast collection of home furnishings that share his trademark style, and include the CW1 swivel chair which is on display in the Museum of Applied Arts & Science. The unusual shape of the CW1 chair features a structure that uses symmetrical ribbons of bent plywood to create a sinuous and highly comfortable form. The shells are angled inward and work independently to provide an embracing form that curves around the lower back to support the lumber region. Read and see more at Woodmark's website. Looking for bathroom furnishings is great fun since that room can really be creative in its color choices. I found this soft blue vanity from NeaBath that I really enjoy. This is a fun shade of blue and one that would be great to coordinate with towels, rugs, and shower curtains. This piece is called "Wave" and gets its name from the gentle curves of its shape. Wave offers elegance and a bit of flair due to its shape. In these types of models you do sacrifice some storage space since the vanity does not go all the way to the ground, but it also creates a more open feel for the bathroom furnishings in the room. Designer Charles Wilson has received rave reviews for his innovative works and "The Heron Chair" he did for Woodmark of Australia is no exception. The forward thinking behind the Heron Chair stem from his experiences as an industrial designer and Wilson even made the 1;1 scale patterns that form the chair and seat moulds by hand. These were meticulously tested and modified until the optimum level of comfort was achieved. The inspiration for this sleek modern chair came according to Wilson "while photographing curvaceous Victorian lounge chairs and wondered how I could re-interpret these organic shapes in a modern way". Woodmark collaborates with freelance furniture designers to develope one of the most cutting edge modern furniture collections you can see here.

The play on black and white colors is a constant home decorating theme and one that is widely accepted in the design industry. I came across these bathroom pictures featuring the use of black and white together which are great examples of the theme. Each example features a sink basin, bathroom vanity, and storage cabinet. These products were created by Phoenix Design for Laufen. The wallpaper in the first image brings out a more wild version of the theme where the colors challenge our sensory imaging. The second image speaks more to simplicity and cleanliness where the color lines are not as aggressive. More information: here.
