How about starting off your morning in this dream walk-in closet from Besana? This place is massive with tons of room for storing your wardrobe and for moving around. The walk-in closet is built in melamine birch which offers a nice neutral shade for your clothes. One of my favorite elements is the see-through shoe drawers underneath the hanging clothes area. You can see that there is glass on top of the drawers. This provides maximum visibility for your shoes. I also like shoes in drawers as this provides a more organized and tidy look than an open shoe rack. The lighting is a bit strong in this picture and one that I would not duplicate in my own version. It does create a ritzy feel, but it sure is a large fixture. More information: here.

How about the W+W space saving and innovative sink / toilet, or as the Europeans would say washbasin / watercloset designed by the Gabriel & Oscar Buratti for Roca, a world leader in fashionable and functional bathroom features. Many bathroom designs are compact in size and the W+W takes up the space normally dedicated to a simple bathroom vanity or sink stand. Roca has been on the forefront of modern bathroom and wellness product worldwide for almost a hundred years, and you can see their entire collection here.

Steamer trunks offer a great weathered look that can add character in the right home setting. Steamer trunks were popular from 1880-1920 as a form of luggage due to their large storage capabilities. Traveling was not as quick as it is today and also travelers took more outfits on average than today. These pieces feature cigar leather or brushed steel with great detail in the locks, end-pieces, stitching, and nail head trim. They are constructed of a wooden frame. More information: here.

Candle chandeliers remind me of old world charm and movies where the setting is 100 years or greater in the past. Though their source of lighting is now obsolete due to the many lighting options now available, that nostalgia creates a designer opportunity. The settings of these pictures highlight the use of candle chandeliers hanging over dining tables. There imagery is unique and one that may appeal to traditional decorating fans. I have thrown in a sconce as well to bring out another candle-like option. The Pillar Collection comes from Restoration Hardware and can be found here.
