Some times I wish I did not buy my house 5 years ago so I could put in a steam shower like the Felicity Premium from Tylo. This model is nice, because it is not an overly large footprint which makes it more likely to work in an every day bathroom. Space saving features like a fold-down teak seat help conserve this valuable resource. The best thing about the steam shower is its flexibility. Tylo markets this as a "multi" model due to it features. It can operate as a waterfall shower, rain shower, controlled rain shower, jet massage, and as a steam shower. Thus, depending on your mood, you can create the right sensation for your body. And if you want company, the seat can fold down into a bench for two people. More information: here.

Laminate flooring that looks like the real thing by Armstrong. I have to say that Dean Martin was what caught my eye; after all I did grow up in some of the right decades to enjoy his entertaining. The flooring shown here is not real wood and the picture is really a celebrity double both of which look rather convincing. I have seen the Armstrong laminated floor series in a recent interior design restoration project I did and it looks as authentic as this picture of Dean! Check out the Armstrong flooring line which does include real wood if you so desire here.

One look at the Apollo by LineAqua screams steam shower luxury. This futuristic looking capsule is designed to erase the stress of day to day life through a combination of relaxation and steam. Its shape is a bit different than most shower cabins on the market due to the cleverly constructed seat that allows a person to recline much like you would at a favorite day spa. Commercial and corporate office interiors are so much more inviting when the setting is more of a home away from home, for not only the clients but the employees that must see it everyday. The new corporate head quarters of Comcast designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects in Philadelphia is my idea of a work place worth getting out of bed for. This optimistic and vibrant corporate interior was recently featured in an edition of Interior Design magazine and as you can see makes the best of one of my favorite things, modern furniture. The more than one million feet of office space was creatively outfitted with stunning details by Karen Daroff of Daroff Designs who forged a lasting relationship with Comcast founder as she worked on three previous corporate offices for the company. Here are some of the wide open and expansive rooms that are furnished and accessorized to perfection. Read more about the entire building project originally shown in Interior Design Magazine.
