Pool Music : Floating iPOD Speakers and Transmitter
Here is another great electronic development for the iPOD. It's a transmitter and speaker combination designed to float in a pool. The transmitter can be used up to 150 away and provide a signal. You can add up to 10 speakers on this system. Each speaker is 5 watts and 3 inches in size. The overall diameter with the protective casing measures 6 ½ inches. The transmitter runs on 900 mhz so it should not interfere with a home's wireless network. Each pool speaker runs on 6AA batteries and is designed to last up to 10 hours. I bought this and i'm pretty disapointed. they claim to have a 10 hour battery life... try 30 minutes! we've used brand new, and also went out and bought brand new rechargable ones....
pretty bummed since it wasn't cheep!
