Electric Indoor BBQ Grill for People without Patios

If you love to barbecue and don't have a patio area, an indoor BBQ grill can come to the rescue. For me, I really enjoy eating barbecue and also the fun in grilling things myself. It is not uncommon for apartments to have "no grill" rules for the fire safety of all of their inhabitants. This indoor BBQ grill runs on 1500 watts of electricity and is made by Breville. The top plate can be adjusted to any position to help control heat based on the type of fare being cooked. The top plate is ribbed which allows you to sear meat should you wish to. It comes with a drip pan that is dishwasher safe. The heat can be set between 350-450 degrees. An electric grill has an advantage here since it is easier to maintain proper heat. All is not lost if you cannot grill outside. A handy indoor BBQ grill can come to the rescue. Price: $249. Buy product: here.

Colorado Home Pictures with an Industrial Construction Theme

These Colorado home pictures show the Crowder House designed by Faleide Architects of Denver. What's interesting about this home is its strong industrial theme. Where many of us might be thinking mountain cabins or lodges, the Crowder House draws its inspiration from concrete panel construction combined with metal. Often the ceilings reveal trusses and general steel work where its structural strength becomes a design statement. I also find the stairs and hand rails to be very interesting. The stairs feature metal steps with holes for traction. The hand rails compliment the steps offering its own metal work in a nice designer's flair. There is one room where the floors and ceilings blend in an interesting concept. The fixtures in the ceiling are matched by round accents in the floor to create a unique feel in the room. Though the overall feel of these Colorado home pictures may not be as warm as the mountain lodge, if you appreciate industrial construction there are some clever takeaways here. Casa Segrada - New Mexico House Blending Asian and Southwestern Architecture

Casa Segrada was a project by Archaeo Architects where they faced a unique challenge. The family was creating a New Mexico house on a 20 acre heavily wooded lot. Their goal was to keep as many of the trees as possible to preserve the natural landscape. The challenge of building on a rocky hillside was a big factor in the footprint and shape. Additionally, the family wanted to combine Asian and Southwestern architecture in way that flowed with the New Mexico lifestyle. Archaeo drew inspiration from traditional Japanese folk house design using a pitched roof and hand crafted wood joinery. The views are breathtaking from the home as is the thought of lounging on the porch with the dogs. Source: Archaeo Architects.
