Designer Karim Rashid keeps his Koncord barstool design simple yet colorful thanks to a one piece rotational molded polyethylene construction. The Koncord stool will be on display at this year's Milan design week at superstudio piu in Via Tortona, and is part of the plastic molded furniture collection by Italian manufacturer Slide.

I have seen a lot of unusual bathroom fixtures and modern wash basins, but the Abisko Washbasins from Euman is unlike any I have seen before. The cascading concept of this super cool sink was inspired by the waterfalls of the Swedish National Park Abisko and unlike traditional sinks includes no visual plumbing to spoil the look. Designers Johan Kauppi and Lars Sundström created the Abisko Washbasin in cooperation with Eumar to utilize a floor level drain, most fascinating!
Nathan Mills calls his folded one piece dining table the Schlicht Table, I call it the "slick table". This bent wood concept takes the usual parts and combines the dining table and chairs into one well thought piece that would really work well in a modern interior décor, especially the vibrant colored ones. As you may expect Nathan Mills has an extensive resume of visual skills including 3D Modeling & CAD Real World Rendering. I am not sure when the Schlicht Table can be purchased, can any Furniture Fashion readers help me out!

I set out in this blog post to offer some cool ceiling lighting ideas for decorating a modern home. I mentioned in my last article on floor lamps that it is hard to find quality pictures and good product descriptions when it comes to lighting. Now the great thing about a ceiling is the wide variety of lighting options. There can be fixtures that are compact and close to the ceiling or amazing chandeliers. The secret to light decorating is finding the right balance for the room. Frankly, it is very easy to get an oversized fixture that when installed on the ceiling, creates an imbalance for the overall feel of a room. The best advice is to carefully shop for ceiling lighting. I also recommend cutting out a cardboard model of the actual size and placing it in the room. This an easy way to get a sense for the size and impact a fixture can create in a room. These products are all available at Vibia Design here.
