Here is a very unusual woven foam sofa from designer Daniel Hedner of Imaginary Office that definitely removes itself from the norm. The Pleats-Pleats features specialized flexible polyurethane foam from Recticel which allows the bends and interlocking around the steel frame. I do not think this will be one to consider for future reupholstering but it sure look cool so you will have to make concessions. See more from the Imaginary Office furniture collection and feature products from the Greenhouse and Stockholm Furniture Fairs here.

Ideas for floor lamps are hard to come by on the internet since lighting is less glamorous than other areas of home decorating. As a blogger, I scour sites every day often to find a very limited selection of floor lamps, but also usually without good pictures or product descriptions. These cool floor lamps show 9 models from the Vibia Design collection. Several of them come in multiple colors or have different shade options available. I included two outdoor lamps as well since those seem to be even harder to find. I find that shape is an important feature in floor lamps. As I look closely I can see the influence of architecture in the several of the examples. Hopefully, there are some good ideas in these pictures about what would work well in your home. Hi-Tech furniture meets recycling, or re-use in the case of the Texte-ile modern lounge chair which is actually discarded laptop keyboards. Designer Dante Bonuccelli and Lamm created this most unusual lounge chair for the UMUL 2009 project, Use More, Use Less, a permanent workshop on re-use in design. The keyboards in this case came from a company offering IT support to users with visual disabilities. I am sure we will see more on the Use More, Use Less project as ecological responsibility and the positive effects of reusing materials becomes more publicized.

The great feature of the "Dream" kitchen from Pedini is the way that it can be customized. Their color scheme offerings center on general color in a kitchen to the complimentary cabinets. The examples here show kitchens in grey, white, and sky blue. It is interesting to see how the cabinet colors change to match the theme of the kitchen. The grey example highlights cabinetry that is darker that compliments the grey theme. The sky blue variety has a very soft blue cabinetry to fit the sky theme. The blue cabinets are so subtle that they don't "jump out at you", but in reality is a unique color not normally found in kitchen design. If you plan to build a kitchen the choices are limitless. Hopefully, these pictures can provide some ideas. Via - Pedini.
