Checkered Chess Table by Front Design

Here is an interesting chess table created by Front Design for Moooi. This is not your typical stodgy gaming table, but a checkered version that comes to life. This table is just not for gaming as it could be worked in a black and white decorating theme in a contemporary setting. I keep thinking "Alice in Wonderland" this morning as I write the story. In some ways this table is so bold it reminds me of the great work of literature where many objects come to life. Via.
