I am a huge fan of beautiful blue water that the Cayman Islands is famous for. This article's Cayman Islands home pictures feature a property located on the North Side in Rum Point a good distance from the more crowded hotel beaches. The main asset is its 100 feet of private beach that should provide plenty of recreation space for the family. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and encompasses a total of 4,200 square feet. It sits on .68 of an acre. When I look inside it's view from the living room, the dual staircases creates a grand entrance. I have to tell you that my heart lies outside the Cayman Islands home here. I would be spending more time in the pool, patio, or just chilling down by the beach. Price: $1,875,000. Via.

I wish I could show you all of the incredible glass lamps and lighting from Oggetti founded by Robert and Nancy Frehling in 1975. Originally entirely Italian the Oggetti collection featured designer oriented Venetian blown glass with vibrant colors and detailing that really comes to life when illuminated. Since that time the collection has expanded to the "Tavola Accessories" a collection for the home, bath and office, using natural materials, the "Gallery Collection," representing artists' work in glass to fine galleries, and "Oggetti Luce," comprising several collections of Italian lighting including pendants, table lamps and tourchiers, chandeliers, floor lamps and sconces. I had the recent pleasure of seeing the entire collection of Oggetti lamps and lighting at the High Point Furniture Market in North Carolina and was very impressed with the collection that included precision laser cut glass on the technology side, and old world mouth blown tradition on the other. Visit Oggetti for a look at the full collection here.

I know there are not many of you record / turn table guys left out there but here is a new all in one storage solution for housing all of you LP's. The "Volume" is a convenient place to store your old records and even display a few album covers up top in the slatted grooves well within reach of the record player. The ecological upside is a bamboo and Corian construction. Made by Test Collective.
