In 17 Decorative Mini Refrigerator Concepts for the Home we hope to provide ideas about additional chilled storage in your house. Due to the large increase in bottled beverages from wine to water, the main refrigerator often does not have adequate space for a family. This is where a mini refrigerator can come in handy. It frees up space for food and places beverages where they are more accessible in the home such as by the pool, outside patio, or in the living room. These pictures feature products from U-Line and show how they are integrated into the design of the house. It is a much better option if mini refrigerators can be tucked away under counters rather than free standing in a room. Another solution families are using is having separate ice makers. I have a few pictures of those in this article. Source: U-Line.

Designer Michael Rösing has a rather basic idea of the modern wall clock. It is missing a basic structure and face but all the necessary parts are there. The DIY wall clock kit from Radius Design includes the clock, hands, and of course twelve dots for wall mounting. The generous and easy to read clock includes hands that measure 16 and 18 inches made of aluminum and stainless steel. Available from Radius Design Shop for a reasonable $99.

Cast Architecture took on a project to remodel the Greenwater cabin in Washington state. The family wanted to expand its space by adding three bedrooms while transforming the rustic cabin into a modern vacation home. The results came out wonderfully as evidenced in the pictures. My personal favorite is how they engineered the kitchen with a roll up door that can be opened to the outside, thus connecting the indoor and outdoor space to the meadow beyond the house. What a great idea for entertaining to create an easy entrance/exit when weather permits. The other rooms were fashioned in modern design supporting the overall theme the family was targeting. Via.

Outdoor furniture has never been so right at home as the newest collection from Moroso which was surrounded by the colorful plant life of Kim Beck at this years New York Design Week. After famed designer Patricia Moroso saw the graphic imagery of Beck in her book "A Field Guide to Weeds" she was inspired and commissioned Beck to create the installation which really brought the already colorful outdoor furniture collection to life, plant life that is. The installation features a miniature forest of acrylic trees and vines which were right at home with the "hippie" hanging chair.
