Lowrider Sofas by Allermuir Contemporary Furniture

This product is known as "Obelisk", but I the first notion that came to me was "Lowrider Sofas". The furniture designer was Ross Didier. Obelisk features a very simple form in the shape of a rectangle. The sofa's tilt however, challenges our senses of proportion and nature. Not being accustomed to these angles draws our attention immediately to the product in trying to sort out our own perceptions of proper shape and size.
