As a fan of contemporary home design I like to see how architects challenge us and our perceptions of space, functionality and visual appeal. The Blairgowrie Court Residence is definite "eye candy" if you like to look at home pictures and see what creative minds have come up with. The first takeaway for me is the wide open feel of the entire decorative theme. Open space abounds much like what you would see in decorative minimalism. I cannot be certain without having stepped inside, but it looks as though concrete floors may adorn several of the rooms. If not concrete, then it is a dark tile pattern that looks very close to concrete. Nonetheless, this makes a statement by the home owners about their perception of contemporary home design. Via.

This luxury penthouse has been described as "James Bondish" with floor to ceiling walls of glass, sloping floors, and built in furniture that adds to the spatial continuum. Here are some of the living spaces and exterior characteristics of the House Ray 1 that features a kitchen referred to as a "culinary cockpit" a stairway that cantilevers from the side of the building, and ramp flooring that leads to the "living zone", the family favorite.
