The Island of Malta is located just south of Sicily and is viewed as a stepping stone into the African continent. The villa or palazzo, Italian for "private residence", is located in the town of Rabat. Malta is a member of the EU and is accustomed to glitter and stardom having hosted filming for movies such as Gladiator, Count of Monte Cristo, Alexander and U-571. The Malta villa underwent a renovation to update the interiors to a more modern décor and to add important features needed in everyday living such as wi-fi.
