Modern Scandinavian furniture has a long history of innovative design and quality construction and no other designer has more awards than Ingmar Relling. The famous "Siesta" chair and ottoman are among his most prized works and still captures the true Scandinavian flavor. This elegant chair with its proud profile was originally Relling's submission to the Norwegian Furniture Council competition in 1964, where he won a well deserved first prize. Since then, the highest distinctions have been lavished on the chair and its creator. More than a million Siesta chairs have been made and exhibited at many important museums and galleries all around world. The Siesta is surprisingly comfortable thanks to a heavy canvas sling interwoven into a flexible laminated bent wood frame and soft padding that conforms to your body. The Siesta is available in various leathers in a high back or low back version from Rybo of Norway.

Casablanca is a throwback to the art deco style where lines, curves, and shapes defined a design and made a statement about the furniture. The art deco armchairs have a striking shape in how the cushions flow through the piece and the accompanying ottoman. The arching arm provides an architectural touch to the overall visual design. Casablanca is part of the Tresserra collection with a focus on quality construction techniques using walnut and velveteen upholstery. Product: here.
