Franco Poli has designed this minimal chaise lounge called Dormeus. This piece is available in three options: light ash, stained ash structure, or with leather covering. First off, there is not much to this design, hence its minimal label. Brian Law and Tan Sixiu are designers from Singapore who have collaborated in a project called CRISP that created these cool accent tables and chairs. Tan Sixiu is currently a design student in her final year at the University of Singapore. Brian Law graduated from the same institution in 2006 and is rising in the design community. Inspiration for the chair designs was drawn from the human form as it might engage in conversation in a living room social setting. The Enchanted chair from Donghia Furniture takes its inspiration from a chair that is covered in drapes. In this design, the chair has been upholstered so that it looks as if the "draped effect" is permanent. Hush is a great looking lounge chair from Arcadia Contract. As I was working on a previous article on modular office furniture, I found this piece. To me this piece is very cool and a fit for many living rooms. I enjoy the high back and arms of the chair and like the look that it gives as a result.
