This year at the Milan Furniture show in Italy of course, Tonin Casa made a great showing with their collection of all original modern designs. Furniture Fashion will bring you some of the outstanding items that have made Tonin Casa a real quality find in today's world of cheaper and faster. Here are some of the coffee tables that caught my eye for obvious reasons. You will notice a wide selection of round, rectangular, and oval coffee tables that are available in a myriad of frame and glass colors with a variety of trim and edge options. Enjoy this three part series which will highlight some affordable outstanding modern furniture for all areas of your home.

Designer Cristian Wicha used a surfboard to inspire the stylish look of the Fin coffee and end table from BDI USA. I really like the lack of straight lines and the useful lower glass shelf that makes the best of a simple shape yet well angled shape. Two distinctly different sides allows for the lower shelf to be either revealed or hidden depending on your preference. Wicha added to the Fin's look with a choice of natural Walnut or Espresso wood optionals. BDI USA is well know for an all original selection of home theater audio video products that are made in America.

BDI USA says "You've always wanted a room with a view, why not a room with the VUE ocassional table series". Speaking of view, you will get a nice look through the glass window that allows you to check out what you have stored on the lower shelf. BDI created visual simplicity from basic elements high lighted by angled steel legs and wood panels available in a rich Espresso or stylish Slate finish. I am really impressed with this up and coming contemporary furniture line that features an all original collection of modern coffee tables made in America .

I recently came across some of the great tables from MDF Italia and was inspired by their contemporary designs. There is not a lot of information on their website and the information is only in Italian. As I prefer to provide information on pricing, where to buy, and other relevant facts, I still like to bring you fresh products. Anytime you can see new designs it can provide ideas about what may work in your home. That being said, I am not sure where to buy MDF Italia abroad.
Featured in this article are five tables: Edgar, Intersection, S Table, La Grande, and LIM. Construction ranges from bent slabs of aluminum to molded shapes of polyurethane. The saying that "a picture is worth a 1000 words" holds true with these tables. Italian design remains on the cutting edge where technology meets contemporary creativity.

I like the Hunt coffee table from the perspective that it works in many homes. Of course the look is classic, making it a fit for traditional styling and even workable in a setting with antique furniture. On the other hand, it is also has relatively simple styling and is not too ornate. This simplicity makes it a good fit in a transitional decorative home setting. Versatility is a great benefit as you continue to change the look of your home in the future, with additions and subtractions of current pieces of furniture. This piece is available from Ralph Lauren Home for $2,076. Referred to as a cocktail table, Hunt is constructed of alder with cherry veneer with a mahogany color finish. Dimensions: 48" x D38" x H20".
