I see more furniture than the average person by far, and my wants have subsided possibly out of sensory overload, but this expandable coffee table from Sculrtures Jeux is something I really need. I think this is so simple yet brilliant for small space decorators and people who tend to gather around the coffee table for dinner or card games like my self. Often it is hard to find just the right coffee table to cater to the entire crowd that may be gathered on a sofa or sprawling sectional. Designer Paolo Pallucco put some thought into this problem and developed the "Campo Arato" square coffee table that relies of three hinged trapezoid sections that rotate open to offer a variety of shapes. Concrete furniture has been growing in popularity, also known as FRC fiber reinforced concrete, this material can be made into any shape and as you would expect with incredible resiliency. Designer Philippe Tissot created the "Obsession" hall table for Taporo, a workshop specializing in pre-cast concrete furniture. The meandering hall table design features four sets of parallel compartments with vibrant glossy lacquer all of which are hand made, signed and custom sizes are available.
