Talk about wheeling around the house. The tour table by Gae Aulenti really has wheels. This coffee table was designed in 1993 for Fontana Arte. I am not sure that this will fit the décor in your house, but you have to admit it's a conversation piece. Don't sell that old bicycle yet, you can maybe make something out of it.

It's interesting to reflect on older pieces and see what their impact is on today's design. This table was designed by Erick Brendel at the Bauhaus art and architecture school in Weimar, Germany in 1924. The table rests on castor wheels comes with four flaps, adjustable, inside shelf and 2 insert plates. There are four additional foldable tops in the table. Redesigned by Tecta, colors range from natural, red, black to ash white.

I have a fondness for unique furniture designs, the more simple the better. I really love this"S" shaped square side table made of solid DIMB wood. DIMB Wood is a beautiful fine grain and dense wood, it is comparable with African Maple. It can be made darker by treating it with bees wax. A truly stunning side table designed by Josephine Colsen.Also available in a "G" style with the same basic look.

Inspired by the apple crates he had played on as a child, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry created the ribbon-like design of the face off table with interwoven maple strips. The graceful design integrates material with structure, transcending all conventions of style. Each table comes stamped with the KnollStudio logo, Frank Gehry's signature and the date of production. Features hard white maple veneers; all wood grains run in the same direction for resilience. Solid maple center column prevents rocking. Arched base design provides ample leg room. Glides are clear plastic with matte frost finish. Finishes; Top comes in a choice of two finishes: clear glass or white laminate. Base finish is laminated clear maple to 8-ply thickness with high-bonding urea glue.
