This interesting side table is made completely of recycled paper. The actual construction material name is "Homasote" which is recycled paper board. This product is from the Matt Gagnon Studio where is it made by hand in Brooklyn, New York. The side table is built in such a way that it can be set standing up like pictured or place on its side. The spaces and grooves add a decorative element in the design and can also be used as storage. The "Cues Table" from designer Kim Hyunjoo just may be perfect for a game room pub table thanks to the base made from 24 pool cues. Korean born Hyunjoo has a growing collection of small furniture items that in some cases use daily items that may have otherwise been discarded. One other such item is the "Fragment Pipe" that is a light made from a curved steel drain pipe, both of which you can see at UUN Design Studio here.
