Frank Lloyd Wright is without a doubt an icon in the field of American Architecture and furniture design. His creations are recognizable at first glance, and were often specifically created to go into the buildings or homes he designed. Many of these furniture designs even bear the name of the client the piece was commissioned for. Copeland Furniture has worked with the Wright foundation and has the rights to reproduce many of his designs to the exacting standards Wright intended a hundred years ago. Here are a few of the offerings from the Copeland collection made in Vermont. Pricing and retail locator available at copelandfurniture.com

I love the shape of this teak occasional table made by France & Son in the 1960s. The two level design with caning on the second level creates a wonderful piece for a modern living room. This table was designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen of Denmark. Keep a look out in your thrift shopping for a nice table like this.

In a previous post here at Furniture Fashion our readers were given a good look at the all glass furniture collection from LA Vetreria of Italy. Here are some of their modern glass cock tail tables that feature a wide assortment of colors, shapes and angles. The cocktail table can be a strong focal point and often the center of the living room due mostly to its position in the setting, and should be as functional as attractive. The LA Vetreria series of tables feature extra shelving, glass and wood combinations, and the Galaxy that has a built in candy dish. See the rest of LA Vetreria's modern glass furniture for today's modern interior décor.

"Plateau" is a coffee table in true Zen fashion where the essence is bared for all to see. The small accumulation of rock in its center provides a soothing theme to its design. Lines radiate from the center adding another decorative touch to the black coffee table. Plateau is intended for indoor or outdoor use creating great possibilities in decorating a patio or cabana. Plateau was designed by David Scott for MPS Furniture. Product: here.
