This hand painted armoire is the creation of Lucas Rise. Lucas was born in Buenos Aries, Argentina in 1978. He has been painting since childhood. It is easy to see the influence upon his colorful motifs. I see a bit of Mondrian and Leger combined with many other cultural influences. I think a hand painted armoire by Lucas would really make a room in the right home décor setting. Via.

It's hard to find a bargain today, but I found some luck. Here I present 10 great retro modern wall clocks each under $300. These clocks are the creation of a metal artist in the U.S. Steve Cambronne is a full time artist that has been traveling and selling art for the last twenty years. Inspired by mid century modern craftsmen and the trends towards retro design, Steve began working with metal in the forms of clocks and sculpture several years ago. Over trials and much time, Steve has created wonderful clocks that are full of bright colors reminiscent of past eras in history. With prices ranging from $155 - $295 these wall clocks are quite affordable. I was excited to learn of his pricing since so many of us can afford a "cool timepiece" for our homes. More information on his art at: Steve Cambronne.

At Furniture Fashion we are big fans of design. I was excited to come across furniture art featuring some very famous pieces of mid century modern works. These art works are by Kelly Reemtsen. Kelly is a California painter that is a fan of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. You can see from all the paintings that she is a collector of these works and often incorporates them into here everyday imagery. Via - Design FormuLA
