I find myself eating out a lot due to my busy lifestyle. Now, it may be more special for you to dine in with guests. It takes much more effort to prepare a meal for guests rather than ordering off of a menu. Not to mention, you may be racing to do that house cleaning that you have been holding off on!
Next time you have guests over consider sprucing up your dining table with a nice candle holder. Whether it is your date, spouse or guest, a pretty candle holder is sure to add to the atmosphere of the meal.
I found a great minimalist candle holder called the chorus candelabra from Plushpod. The flowing lines and clean metal appeal elicit beauty and simplicity at the same time.

How about an accent table that looks like a cupcake? I am reminded of a foil paper wrapper around a cupcake when I look at this accent table from Jellio. This may or may not fit the décor of your house, but it sure makes for a conversation piece. Called the birthday table, this furniture piece retails for $750.

My hat's off to the great creativity here. The featured circular item is a combination open fireplace and dome bake oven. This reminds me of old world kitchens where food was cooked over open fire and the hearth was a source of warmth for the family. I love the great modern design of the fireplace. The color combination really works between the fireplace, oven door, kitchen appliances and hardwood floors giving the room a clean look.
I know this is not furniture, but it can be considered an accessory so I felt compelled to let you all know about it. In the ever growing world of "green" and "eco friendly" products the Ecopod is a great idea to assist in recycling. Ecopod along with BMW Designworks conspired on this combination compactor/storage unit that flattens and stores cans and plastic bottles with ease. Designworks wanted to help assist in making recycling one of the most commonly used items simple and rewarding. Of course BMW has a way of making even a trash can look good. $328 At vivavi.com
