The Greek Islands are certainly one of the most beautiful places on earth and the thought of living there full time would be dream come true to many people. The quaint house in this article is a Greek Islands home in Santorini that sits in a small village called Emboreio. The house has two full bedrooms and two cave bedrooms allowing it to accommodate several guests. You can see a cave bedroom in one of the photos as the ceiling is very low and the stucco is molded like a cave ceiling. The Santorini home is constructed of white stucco that is a local favorite as it weathers the moisture from the Aegean Sea well. There is also a pool in the courtyard to allow you to soak up that wonderful Greek sun. Price: €185,000. (Note: the listing shows it being listed at €312,000 but, the realtor wrote me back and informed me that the price has been reduced).Via.

These pictures showcase the Oshry residence located in Bel Air, California. When looking at Bel Air homes you may not expect to find one themed in industrial architecture, but more of traditional roots. It was designed by SPFA Architects of Los Angeles. As I take a visual tour of the home, I am taken by the amount of detail. Each façade of the home has extra features such as retracting wood panels that add to the complexity of the design. This home was featured in Architecture Digest in 2004, Russian Interior Digest in 2004, and was "home of the year" in Architecture Magazine in 2003. Via.

If you have a chance to visit the California wine country, do go. The scenery is just breathtaking and the atmosphere relaxed. The Napa California home pictures in this article feature a property located in the township of Napa. The California wine country contains several small towns, so if you have been there, you will know the region. The architecture is French Country Estate, a fitting theme that matches the flair of the region. The home was designed by Stephen Wilmoth, an architect from Carmel. My favorite room in this Napa home is the kitchen. You know that I am more of a modern design fan at heart, so I would likely change out some of the furniture. I do love the amazing views. Living in Napa would be wonderful for working outside or just relaxing on the patio. Property information: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, guest house, 4,064 sq. feet, 9.90 acres. Address: 1221 Green Valley Road, Napa, CA. Via.
